Silicon metal 99.9 has a high purity, so it have wide applications in electronics, metallurgy and chemical industries. Especially in the metallurgical industry, it is an important raw material for the production of aluminum alloys. In addition, silicon metal is also an additive in non-ferrous alloys to improve or enhance the excellent properties of the metal. For example, aluminum used in automobiles (including motorcycles) has a considerable demand for industrial silicon, and silicon metal and Magnesium ingot are both important aluminum alloy additives.

Regular Silicon metal 99.9 size is 10-10mm. But we also provide silicon metal powder, with 0-1mm, or mesh powders as customer’s requirement. There are also other models such like High Purity Silicon Metal Powder 3N 4N 5N 6N. Those models are with even higher Si content and finer sizing.
